Marley Candles is located in Mokena, IL. Their reputation has spread almost entirely by word of mouth.

However, this family-owned and operated business, Marley Candles has a surprisingly large reputation.

It's a reputation that wasn't gained by advertising. Nancy Fixari and Kathy Chapleau, owners and operators of Marley Candles, don't do too much advertising as a rule.

Mission Statement

Marley Candles is a family owned business dedicated to producing a quality American hand-made product. We firmly support small business, the back-bone of American economy.

And the reputation doesn't seem accounted for by the business's humble location either. Marley Candles is situated on 187th Street on the outskirts of Mokena in an unimposing structure that looks an awful lot like a house.

But the building has never been a house. In fact, it's never been anything but Marley Candles.

"It was built as a business," explained Chapleau, "and if it folded, it could be turned into a house."

A wise precaution, but an unnecessary one. Why? Because Marley Candles is the only place you can go to buy a Marley candle.

The shop sells a variety of home decor items, including -- not surprisingly -- a whole lot of candles. The majority of these candles carry the brand names of national candle manufacturers. The Marley candle itself comprises only 33 percent of the shop's total candle stock.

So Come on in and explore the area's largest collection of American-made, hand-dipped candles and candle Accessories (some using actual Civil War-era candle molds). Here, you will find a complete line of wedding and unity candles, candles for every occasion, every holiday, and every event.
